Bottecchia Zoncolan 29er Carbon Hard Tail Mountain Bike 2012

The new creation for the carbon hard tail mountain has the name of the hardest mountain in Europe: Zoncolan. By using the same technology used for the SP9, carbon monococque with double mould and UD high module carbon,  we obtained the maximum lightness and stiffness. With a weight only for few grams over the kilo, we have been able to maximize the resistance by reducing the weight compared to the traditional building methods. The new compact sloping geometry has been studied to offer the maximum sprint and agility on the front triangle, thanks to the generous dimensions of the down tube and the integrated, differentiated headset 1” 1/8 – 1” 1/2. The rear stay, where the most important stress of the bike are concentrated, has been projected again, gambling on the resistance to the side torsions by increasing 15% of stiffness and by integrating the post mount calliper 160 mm, so to eliminate the vibrations when braking strongly.
Big attention to the design, to obtain a snappy and in the same time essential look with homogeneous shapes and integrating the cables passages.
